Basketball Recap: Conway Christian Victorious

Conway Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They snuck past the Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders with a 48-42 win.

Miles Crawford was a one-man wrecking crew as he posted 29 points and seven rebounds. Those 29 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Elleon Vallario, who had six points.

Christ the Cornerstone Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bradley Hogan, who put up nine points and seven boards. Josh Swails was another key player, putting up ten points and six rebounds.

The victory got Conway Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Christ the Cornerstone Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Conway Christian will face off against Green Sea Floyds at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Christ the Cornerstone Academy, they will take on Hannah-Pamplico at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
