Harwood came tearing into Wednesday's contest with 14 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 win over the Hartford Hurricanes. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Highlanders have posted since January 3rd.

Harwood pushed their record up to 23-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points over those games. As for Hartford, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-4.
