Soccer Game Preview: South Tama County vs. Perry

The South Tama County Trojans will venture away from home to challenge the Perry Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Tama County's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

South Tama County's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Benton 1-0. The result kept South Tama County happy, as they haven't lost a game since May 15th.

Meanwhile, Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Van Meter. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Perry couldn't quite close it out.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-3. As for South Tama County, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-18-5.
