Basketball Game Preview: Strathmore Spartans vs. Exeter Monarchs

Having just played yesterday, the Strathmore Spartans will jump right back in to play the Exeter Monarchs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Strathmore's tournament run continued when they took on Tulare Western on Friday. The Spartans took a 37-19 bruising from the Mustangs. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Exeter had to suffer through a 51-7 loss at the hands of Fresno.

Strathmore now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Exeter, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Strathmore was able to grind out a solid win over Exeter in their previous meeting back in January, winning 36-25. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Monarchs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
