Basketball Recap: Tuscaloosa County Comes Up Short

Tuscaloosa County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were beaten by the Prattville Lions 88-12. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while the Lions are ranked 29th).

Tuscaloosa County's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Prattville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Tuscaloosa County will square off against Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prattville, they will welcome Thompson at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
