Volleyball Recap: Doniphan-Trumbull Triumphs

While Doniphan-Trumbull didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Crofton Warriors by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Cardinals were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Warriors, so the Cardinals were just returning the favor.

Charlee Richter paced Doniphan-Trumbull's offense, picking up ten kills. Richter got some help from Laini Rath and her 13 assists.

Doniphan-Trumbull's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Crofton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Doniphan-Trumbull has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against O'Neill on the 13th. As for Crofton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Central City on the 13th.
