Meanwhile, Western Reserve played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against McDonald, falling 64-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Western Reserve has suffered against McDonald since February 6, 2021.

Lowellville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Western Reserve, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

Lowellville came up short against Western Reserve in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 60-54. Can Lowellville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
