Volleyball Recap: Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against L.W. Higgins on Tuesday, Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Belle Chasse Cardinals on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23, 25-11.

Valerie Huete paced Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Huete got some help from Michelle Macnish and her eight assists. Amelia Beach controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Belle Chasse, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-5.
