Baseball Recap: La Jolla Country Day Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for La Jolla Country Day, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the San Diego Cavers by a score of 6-2 on Friday.

Elias Hanley looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Jackson Norum was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaza Nishiba, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

La Jolla Country Day now has a winning record of 2-1. As for San Diego, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

La Jolla Country Day wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 4-3 win against Madison on the 10th. As for San Diego, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-7 defeat against El Capitan on the 10th.
