Basketball Recap: Heritage Skates Past Cocoa Beach with Ease + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, Heritage was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They breezed past the Cocoa Beach Minutemen to the tune of 78-4. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Minutemen: they've now won five in a row.

Heritage's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gabriela Buigues led the charge by going 8-for-16 on her way to 18 points in addition to six assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Oda Tveiten, who shot 67% from the field to rack up 19 points and six steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Heritage was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.
