Arlington waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Cascade Bruins with a sharp 80-54 victory. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Bruins are ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Arlington's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points over those games. As for Cascade, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Looking ahead, Arlington is taking a road trip to take on Lake Stevens at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Cascade, they and Glacier Peak will meet on Monday for a tough Bear Battle. Glacier Peak will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Cascade surely won't give up without a fight.
