Soccer Game Preview: Hyde vs. Kents Hill School

Hyde has gone 9-0-1 against Kents Hill School recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Phoenix will venture away from home to face off against the Huskies at 3:30 p.m. Kents Hill School took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Hyde, who comes in off a win.

Hyde proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Landmark 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for Hyde, who have now won three contests in a row.

Meanwhile, Kents Hill School fell victim to Hebron Academy and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 6-0 to the Lumberjacks.

Kents Hill School's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Hyde, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Everything went Hyde's way against Kents Hill School in their previous meeting back in September, as Hyde made off with a 7-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Phoenix since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
