Basketball Recap: Browne Falls Despite Big Games from Tony Bayigamba and Karmello Walker

Browne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles.

Karmello Walker and Tony Bayigamba certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Walker dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 boards, while Bayigamba went 7-for-14 to rack up 17 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Evans, who posted seven points and three steals.

Browne's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for ALA - Gilbert North, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Browne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 94-45 win against Alhambra on the 3rd. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they have also already played their next contest, an 83-71 defeat against Mica Mountain on the 2nd.
