Football Recap: Greater Lowell Tech's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shawsheen Valley Tech, Greater Lowell Tech was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They snuck past the Boston Latin Academy Dragons with a 12-8 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Gryphons as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Greater Lowell Tech's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Boston Latin Academy, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-2.

Greater Lowell Tech and Boston Latin Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Gryphons see the field they'll take on Lowell Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Boston Latin Academy, their break will end when they face O'Bryant at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th.
