Conemaugh Valley entered their tilt with Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy on Wednesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the WolfPack.

Conemaugh Valley wouldn't go down easily and took Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-17, 25-15, 20-25, 15-10.

Leading Conemaugh Valley to victory were Kyra Miller and Illy Darcangelo. Miller had 13 digs, while Darcangelo had ten digs. Those 13 digs gave Miller a new career-high.

Conemaugh Valley now has a winning record of 13-12-1. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, their loss ended an eight-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8.
