Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Liberty's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Liberty won the last time they faced Spring Valley, and Satsuki Bradley did her part to make sure it happened again. The Liberty Patriots took down the Spring Valley Grizzlies 43-28 on Thursday thanks in part to Bradley, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine assists. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in assists.

Despite the loss, Spring Valley still got an impressive performance from Mia Ervin, who posted 16 points and six rebounds. Ervin's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Mckenyia Pittman was another key player, putting up four points and nine boards.

Liberty is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Spring Valley, they moved to 11-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Liberty and Spring Valley will both be playing Democracy Prep Agassi Campus the next time they take the court. Liberty will host Democracy Prep Agassi Campus at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Spring Valley will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
