Softball Recap: Richmond Hill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Richmond Hill made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Wayne County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wildcats fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 7-5 on Thursday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Yellow Jackets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Richmond Hill's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Wayne County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Richmond Hill will square off against Tift County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2.6, the Blue Devils 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Wayne County, they will take on Lowndes at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
