Basketball Recap: Udall Takes a Loss

Udall lost against Argonia back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Udall Eagles fell 38-31 to the Argonia Raiders. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Udall saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lilly Hoffman went 5 of 12 en route to 17 points along with seven boards and three steals. That was a full 54.8% of Udall's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Udall now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Argonia, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Udall won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Oxford at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Argonia, they will host Cunningham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
