Soccer Game Preview: New London vs. Killingly + How To Watch

The New London Whalers will challenge the Killingly Trailbazers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

New London came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Ledyard, falling 4-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, New London couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Theirry Lordilla, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Killingly entered their tilt with Lyman Memorial on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 2-0 shutout. Two seems to be a good number for Killingly as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Killingly's victory bumped their record up to 11-6-1. As for New London, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4-1.

Everything went New London's way against Killingly when the teams last played back in September, as New London made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Whalers repeat their success, or do the Trailbazers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
