Soccer Recap: Mount Pleasant Takes a Loss

Mount Pleasant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the West Stanly Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against West Stanly this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in September.

Mount Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for West Stanly, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Pleasant will challenge Anson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mount Pleasant will be up against Anson's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.9 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for West Stanly, they will square off against South Stanly at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
