Football Game Preview: Dartmouth Indians vs. Fairhaven Blue Devils + Official Tickets

The Dartmouth Indians will take on the Fairhaven Blue Devils at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Last Friday, Dartmouth came up short against Plymouth South and fell 21-14. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Fairhaven had no trouble coming through when it counted. They claimed a resounding 49-20 victory over Bishop Fenwick. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Dartmouth better keep an eye on Kyle Soares. He was instrumental in Fairhaven's win, rushing for 201 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, while also picking up 44 receiving yards and one TD. That's the most rushing touchdowns Soares has posted since back in September.

Fairhaven was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 339 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 269 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

Fairhaven pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.1 points on average over those games. As for Dartmouth, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Dartmouth didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Fairhaven when the teams last played back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 21-16 win.
