The Clear Lake Warriors will take on the Glenwood City Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Clear Lake has six straight wins, Glenwood City has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
On Thursday, Clear Lake beat Mondovi 3-1.
Clear Lake was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 25-8, 25-16.

Clear Lake relied on the efforts of Brena Dimler, who had 21 digs and two aces, and Ayla Monson, who had 23 assists and four digs. With that strong performance, Dimler is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.
They weren't the only good servers: Clear Lake was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Glenwood City didn't have quite enough to beat Webster on Thursday and fell 2-1.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Glenwood City sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 24-26, 15-10.
Clear Lake will have to contain Opal Voeltz as she made an impact in Glenwood City's last game. She had 19 digs. Voeltz has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.
Clear Lake's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Glenwood City, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Clear Lake has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.6 aces per game. However, it's not like Glenwood City struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.4 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
