Baseball Recap: Granite Falls Takes a Loss

Granite Falls was the 9-3 winner over Sultan when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 7-3 to the Turks on Friday. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Turks since Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Granite Falls and nudges their season record down to 9-9. As for Sultan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Coming up, Granite Falls will be playing at home against Blaine at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sultan, they will challenge South Whidbey at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
