Recap: Greenfield Wildcats vs. Dadeville Bearcats
The Greenfield Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 57-22 loss at the hands of Dadeville. While losing is never fun, Greenfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 558th, while Dadeville is ranked 221st).
Aidan Jarman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Dadeville, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Jarman also posted eight assists for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Getman, who scored ten points.
Greenfield dropped their record down to 1-18 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight at home. As for Dadeville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenfield will take on Early at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Early and Greenfield are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Dadeville, they will head out on the road to take on Lockwood at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lockwood is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
