Canyon Crest Academy will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Classical Academy on Friday. The Ravens were the clear victors by a 14-7 margin over the Caimans. The Ravens haven't had any issues with the Caimans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Canyon Crest Academy let Kelly Stroot and Alexis McNamee run wild. Stroot went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI, while McNamee went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team relied heavily on Seaven Fuimaono, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nayeli Adame, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Oceanside pushed their record up to 9-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Canyon Crest Academy, their win bumped their record up to 13-10-1.
