Volleyball Recap: Academy of the Pacific Rim Comes Up Short

If Academy of the Pacific Rim was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Foxborough Regional Charter last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Academy of the Pacific Rim came up short against the Pioneer Charter School of Science II Pirates on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Pioneer Charter School of Science II this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-16.

Academy of the Pacific Rim's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Pioneer Charter School of Science II, they pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Academy of the Pacific Rim does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pioneer Charter School of Science II, they will take on Boston Collegiate at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
