Volleyball Recap: Concord Minutemen vs. Warsaw Tigers

Concord and Warsaw squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Concord had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

Carly Clauss paced Concord's offense, picking up ten kills. Clauss got some help from Claire Campanello and her 32 assists. Finally, Campanello was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

This is the second loss in a row for Concord and nudges their season record down to 21-10. As for Warsaw, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-4 record this season.

Concord does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Warsaw, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Elkhart on the 18th.
