After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coe-Brown Academy, Merrimack Valley was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Kennett Eagles a 1-0 shutout. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Merrimack Valley as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-6-3. As for Kennett, they dropped their record down to 1-11-1 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Merrimack Valley wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Stark on the 16th. As for Kennett, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 loss against Bow on the 16th.
