They enjoyed a cozy 32-18 victory over the Wilkinson County Christian Academy Rams. That's more bragging rights for the Rebels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Briarfield Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brock Johnson led the charge by throwing for 144 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 43 yards and a touchdown. Jack Woodall was another key rusher, rushing for 100 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
