There's no place like home for Ascend Leadership, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Central Carolina Academy Eagles 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for Ascend Leadership as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

Braydon Browning was the driving force of Ascend Leadership's attack as he scored both of Ascend Leadership's goals, bringing his season total up to 15 goals.

Ascend Leadership's victory bumped their record up to 6-8-1. As for Central Carolina Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-11-1 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.
