Rock Point is a perfect 10-0 against Shonto Prep since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Cougars will square off against the Grizzlies at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Rock Point is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering El Capitan just ended the team's nine-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Shonto Prep didn't have quite enough to beat Dishchii'bikoh on Saturday and fell 3-2.

Rock Point's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Shonto Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Rock Point's way against Shonto Prep in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Rock Point made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
