After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Depew, Fredonia was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Pioneer Panthers 7-6. The Hillbillies haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The victory got Fredonia back to even at 3-3. As for Pioneer, they moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fredonia will square off against Frontier at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hillbillies are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pioneer, they are taking a road trip to take on Amherst Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
