Football Game Preview: Highland Hornets vs. North Ridgeville Rangers

The Highland Hornets will host the North Ridgeville Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Highland is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Highland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 38-7 victory over Brecksville-Broadview Heights. Considering the Hornets have won ten matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Highland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Casey Myser, who rushed for 105 yards and three TDs on only 14 carries. Grady Gibb was another key player, rushing for 56 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely North Ridgeville's strategy against Anthony Wayne on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Rangers blew the Generals out of the water with a 42-7 final score. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rangers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Generals are ranked 218th).

Highland's record now sits at 11-0. As for North Ridgeville, their record is now 10-1.
