Flag Football Recap: Casteel Takes a Loss

Casteel fell victim to Red Mountain and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were beaten by the Mountain Lions 35-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Colts in their meetings with the Mountain Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

Casteel didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Campbell Delnoce.

Korey Roberts had a dynamite game For Red Mountain., rushing for 68 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 101 yards and one TD.

Casteel's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Red Mountain, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Casteel wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 63-0 victory against Camelback on the 23rd. As for Red Mountain, they have also already played their next game, a 30-7 win against Basha on the 23rd.
