Basketball Recap: Heritage Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to 63 points the game before, Heritage Academy was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They had to suffer through a 95-23 loss at the hands of the Seton Catholic Sentinels. The Heroes lost against the Sentinels in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 62-54 score last time.

Leading Seton Catholic to victory were Kj Fauske and Damien Howard. Fauske shot 48% from the field to rack up 24 points and four steals, while Howard went 6-for-9 en route to 18 points and five steals. Those four steals gave Fauske a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Morris, who posted nine points along with six rebounds and five steals.

Heritage Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Heritage Academy will welcome Chandler Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Seton Catholic, they are taking a road trip to face off against Yuma Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
