Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Preparatory Comes Up Short

Lakeland Preparatory was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hutchison Sting.

Tess Terpstra paced Lakeland Preparatory's offense, picking up three kills. Terpstra got some help from Emma Morgan and her three assists. Ella Burd controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lakeland Preparatory's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Hutchison, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

Lakeland Preparatory has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Nettleton on the 6th. As for Hutchison, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Briarcrest Christian at 6:30 p.m. The Saints will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Sting surely won't give up without a fight.
