Football Game Preview: Caddo Mills Foxes vs. Farmersville Farmers

The Caddo Mills Foxes are taking a road trip to square off against the Farmersville Farmers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Caddo Mills took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Gainesville 48-7. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-0.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Caddo Mills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wyatt Watson, who rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. Those 186 rushing yards gave Watson a new career-high. Kollin Heath was another key pass catcher, picking up 88 receiving yards and three TDs.

Meanwhile, Farmersville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They claimed a resounding 55-19 win over the Warriors. That's two games straight that the Farmers have won by exactly 36 points.

Caddo Mills now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Farmersville, their record now sits at 5-1.

Caddo Mills came up short against Farmersville when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 29-23. Can the Foxes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
