It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Fairmont Senior ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Preston Knights, sneaking past 3-2. The Polar Bears haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Fairmont Senior's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cam Peschl, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4. Brock Martin also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Fairmont Senior's record now sits at 6-1. As for Preston, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
