Soccer Recap: Amador Takes a Loss

Amador was the 6-1 winner over Galt when they last played one another back in December of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Amador Buffaloes came up short against the Galt Warriors on Wednesday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Buffaloes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 930th, while the Warriors are ranked 431st).

Amador's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Galt, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-2-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amador will head out to square off against Union Mine at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Galt, they are taking a road trip to challenge Argonaut at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Argonaut is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.
