Soccer Recap: Nashville Christian Comes Up Short

Nashville Christian managed to slip by Franklin Road Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Panthers on Tuesday, falling 6-0. The shutout was out of character for Nashville Christian seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Nashville Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for Franklin Road Academy, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3-1.

Looking ahead, Nashville Christian will take on Clarksville Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Nashville Christian will be up against Clarksville Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.89 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Franklin Road Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
