Basketball Recap: Hemet Extends Winning Streak to 22

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hemet walked away with it. They blew past Burbank 90-69 on Wednesday. Hemet has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Burbank still got an impressive performance from Kevin Dehbashian, who went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc to rack up 38 points. The match was Dehbashian's third in a row with at least 22 points. Another player making a difference was Kamran Alborzian, who posted ten points.

The victory was the 22nd in a row for Hemet, bringing their record for this year to 22-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.5 points over those games. As for Burbank, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-8.
