While Lakewood's win against Arvada West wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Wildcats 6-5.

Madison Reisbeck spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on 11 hits.

On the hitting side, Abriella Aguilar was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in August. Elena Borjas was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs.

Lakewood has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Arvada West, their record is now 13-6.

Looking ahead, Lakewood will venture away from home to challenge Bear Creek at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arvada West, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Chatfield on the 6th.
