While San Luis's win against Cibola wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The San Luis Sidewinders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cibola Raiders on Monday, sneaking past 6-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Sidewinders also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Arnold Jimenez, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Jesus Buzani was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

San Luis hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in four consecutive contests.

The victory got San Luis back to even at 7-7. As for Cibola, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

San Luis will have a chance to go back-to-back against Cibola: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
