Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nauset Regional). They walked away with a 48-35 win over the Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their eight-point performance the matchup before.

Nauset Regional's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Martha's Vineyard Regional, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Nauset Regional will take on Falmouth at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Warriors their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Martha's Vineyard Regional, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dennis-Yarmouth Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vineyarders will be up against the Dolphins' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
