Baseball Game Preview: Dixon Rams vs. Woodland Wolves

Dixon hasn't had much luck against Woodland recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Dixon Rams will challenge the Woodland Wolves at 4:15 p.m.

Dixon took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Woodland 10-9. The Rams' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Brayden Green made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that he brought in this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kai Mulitsch-Reynolds, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one double. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. Erick Siegmund was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.
