Soccer Recap: Vilonia Comes Up Short

Vilonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the Greenbrier Panthers. While losing is never fun, Vilonia can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Greenbrier are ranked fourth).

Vilonia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Greenbrier, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Vilonia will challenge rival Maumelle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Greenbrier is set to face off against their familiar foe Parkview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
