Recap: Chatham vs. Hackettstown
Hackettstown had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 36-23 win over Chatham. The success made it back-to-back wins for Hackettstown.
Hackettstown started the match off right with 16 first-half points. Chatham countered with 14 points, leaving the score at 16-14 going into the half. The offense for Hackettstown continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 20 points to put the game away.
The win got Hackettstown back to even at 4-4. This is the second loss in a row for Chatham and nudges their record down to 2-5.
Hackettstown will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Warren Hills Regional. Both of those teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games. Chatham will stay at home against Hanover Park at 7:00 PM. Chatham's defense better steel itself: Hanover Park are averaging 33.43 points per game.
