Basketball Recap: Prairie Heights Comes Up Short

Prairie Heights's last matchup with Woodlan could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Prairie Heights Panthers lost 60-38 to the Woodlan Warriors. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Panthers who fell 32-30 when the teams previously met back in February of 2023.

Trey Yoder was his usual excellent self, shooting 5-for-9 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double with 27 points and ten boards for Woodlan. Yoder is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Drew Fleek was another key player, going 7-for-9 to rack up 14 points.

Prairie Heights' defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Woodlan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
