Baseball Recap: David Thibodaux Comes Up Short

David Thibodaux was the 9-1 winner over Washington-Marion when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Charging Indians on Wednesday.

Caleb Schexnayder led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Landen Sonnier, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

David Thibodaux's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Washington-Marion, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. David Thibodaux will host Westminster Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Washington-Marion, they will be playing at home against Elizabeth at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
