Basketball Game Preview: Campbell County Camels vs. Arapahoe Warriors

The Campbell County Camels will take on the Arapahoe Warriors in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with ten losses in a row dating back to last season, Campbell County turned things around against Pine Ridge on Saturday. They walked away with a 76-66 victory over the Thorpes.

Campbell County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Drube, who went 5 of 8 en route to 17 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Andela, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards.

Campbell County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pine Ridge only pulled down three offensive boards.

Meanwhile, Arapahoe put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-57 win over Rock Canyon.

Arapahoe's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Campbell County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
